Music is science. Music is mathematics. Music is a foreign language. Music is history. Music is physical education. Music develops insight and demands research. Music is all these things, but most of all, music is art. Music is creativity. Music is about being connected. This is why we teach music, learn music and sing music: Not because we expect to make music our profession; not because we expect to play or sing all our lives...although that would be cool! Why sing in a choir? It's simple, really: we sing so we'll continue to understand our humanity; so we'll always recognize beauty; so we'll be closer to an infinite beyond this world; so we'll be part of a greater whole; so we'll have more love, more compassion, more gentleness, more good – in short, more LIFE. |

Who We Are |
We are everyday people. We currently number about 50 choristers. We come from all walks of life: all age groups, all occupations and professions. We share certain values: we care about each other; we like to be creative; we like to learn, to laugh, to discover and to be a part of a community.

what we do
|
We put on 3 concerts events each year. The 1st event is a music concert/music theatre show, usually held the last weekend in January. The 2nd event is a Good Friday concert which includes more serious / spiritual music and is performed with orchestral accompaniment. The 3rd event is a Spring Benefit concert where we give back to the community by raising funds and awareness for a local charity or service provider.
Rehearsals take place on Mondays, from 7 to 9 PM at the Ingersoll Christian Reformed Church (429 King St. W., Ingersoll) Our concert events take place in a number of different sites including churches in the area, or commercial locations such as ITOPA (Ingersoll Theatre Of Performing Arts) and The Elmhurst Inn & Spa.
We rehearse for 2 hours every Monday, commencing the week after Labour Day. As each concert event takes place, 2 or 3 additional practices may be required during the week or the weekend before the actual concert performance.
