The world has dramatically changed in the past seven days. Heeding the call for social responsibility and the advice of Public Health officials to protect our audience and choral members from possible infection of the corvid19 virus, it is with regret and disappointment that ICS Artistic Director, Holly Langohr, and the Board of Directors of Ingersoll Choral Society announce the CANCELLATION of the remaining concerts, rehearsals and activities for this year's performance calendar.
This includes the ICS Good Friday Concert (previously scheduled for April 10) and the ICS Spring Benefit Concert (previously scheduled for May 1, 2020).
We believe this decision is the right thing to do, the responsible thing to do and the ethical thing to do our part to "flatten the curve" in preserving the capacity of our health care system.
We promise to return - hopefully - in September with rehearsals for a new and amazing lineup of concerts for our loyal concert-goers and choral singers. Thank you for your patience and understanding. We firmly believe the best is yet to come.
